Finding time to read seems like a big of a struggle during the week right now. I am hoping this weekend, like last, will give me a lot of time to read.
It's hard to pick up Pride and Prejudice and just read a chapter, at least since I am not that far in. I don't want to give up on this and don't plan on it but I feel like I need more time to really commit to it. So we'll see what happens after this weekend. I just need more time. I need lots of beach vacations so I can just read and read and read as much as I want.
One of my February book club books, Moloka'i by Alan Brennet, is ready and waiting at the library. The sequel to Across the Universe is there too. And the new Joshilyn Jackson is in transit. Soon enough these will all be in my possession and will be competing for my attention (especially Grown-Up Kind of Pretty).
So that is what is going on in my reading life.
